Martin Custom Shop OM 14-Fret Pacific Big Leaf Flamed Maple
Flamed maple is always a stunner, especially when it’s Pacific Big Leaf flamed maple. This elegant OM guitar was designed by Lightning Joe’s after seeing the original sets of wood that Martin had waiting to be selected for a build. We wanted them to build a guitar that didn’t take away from the glory of the wood’s natural beauty, so this piece is complimented with natural elements including highly flamed koa wood binding and abalone inlays. These subtle beauties are refined enough to not stand out immediately, but become rather apparent upon closer inspection. A carefully selected piece of this wood set was added to the headplate to give a preview of what’s hiding on the back and sides of the guitar. Spin this one around and you might never stop looking.
